Welcome to Boerum Hill in Brooklyn. According to wikipedia, the small neighborhood occupies 36 blocks and was named after the Boerum family who occupied most of the area with their colonial farm. The neighborhood has its own charm, with its tree-lined streets and its three-story row houses built between 1840 and 1870's, that you will immediately find yourself falling in love with. Boerum Hill is easily accessible via most subway trains -- 4, 5, N, R, 2, 3 and a few more. You'll also notice the Target is conveniently located in the neighborhood! I have lived in New York for more than nine years and finding this place felt like home to me -- I guess New York still has a lot of surprises in store for me!
